Water Injection

im thinkin about getting water injection to help protect my engine,

but it seems quite pricey for the aquamist versions, so i raided good old eBay, does any1 know anythin about water injection and if so is this kit anygood?

I've got a kit made by Paul Port .. good bit of kit.

I think you could make you own for a LOT less ..

u can make a simple cheap kit by just visiting your local hardware store. save more money by using the stock windshield wiper resivoir if u dont use it much. holds about a gallon of water. and it wont alter the balance of the car i think. im pretty sure theres a write up somewhere here about making an water injection kit. before having a go at it though, locate where u want the water to inject. there are a few places people put the spray.

how much was it mate?...hav u got it installed and working?

I didn't pay .. geez. :lol:

It's been installed for about 18 months now.

Injects when boost is over 6 psi I think, just behind the IC.

i could never make 1 myself, not a chance in hell. :(

i`ll probs after end up buying a ready made kit then paying sum1 to fit it too, :(

all you need is a pump and a pressure sensor .. or a mini ECU that taps into the main ECU loom.

oooook, where would i get those from though?..and then what do i do with it?, by looking at the kits for sale, there is an awful lot of stuff which i havnt got a clue what to do with lol.

remember i didnt even know where the dizzy cap was until yesterday :blink:
