Hi all. Can anyone tell me when i should change my cam belt and or if there is a way i can check it. Also of any garages in the Scotland area that dont mind inports

Hi m8 the recomended time is around 60-62k , not sure about a garage in edinburgh that can do it but i can put you onto my mechanic . he just did a guys on celica-club.co.uk heres the link u will see he was a very happy chappy with his work, only thing is he's in grangemouth so not sure if u can work something out .

i am in glasgow been taking my car to local toyota deealer from day one gets serviced every thing. got timing belt last year - book says 100000 kms which is approx 62000 miles they have fixed price of £140 quid think it only about 18-22 quid for belt but its all the time in the cost. thought that was ok thought. where in grangemouth are you as i am working up there just off beancross road. need a mechanic to fit some shockers soon could do with a name and number. thanks
