Car Alarm

Has anybody experienced problems when setting the alarm whilst the car is on a slope, it’s a real pain! I have to lock the car with the key sometimes, and after opening it with the key in the morning and driving to work, parking on the flat the remote operates again without a problem, suggesting that it’s not the remotes Battery at fault, although it's going to be changed soon.

Also after the car has been locked by the key, when you open it again it only opens the driver door, is this a standard thing?

I drive 1.8GS on a 02 plate
