93 Toyota Corolla Accelerator Smoke Problem

:D Hi Fella

Got a 93 Corolla 1.8 Eng.When I'm driving and want to go 70 mph The car stall and I have to floor the accelerator, when it get to 60 mph I hear a noises(tiny leave like) and then a cloud of smoke(for 3 seconds) come out the tailpipe and then it will accelerate to 70 mph and ect....

For the last 4 day the car been doing this but the smoke that coming out the tailpipe been coming out very much ligther than day one.

I took it to my Auto repair guy and he told me that the car got 201,000 mile and the smoke could come from old age and that there are no leak from the engine and sparkplug and New oil change and that he don't see or hear anything visual to tell him that there is something wrong with the car.I hear that at 200,000+ that car should be running good.IS THIS ENGINE ABOUT TO DIE ON ME,CAN SOMONE GIVE ME ADVICE?Also my brake light sign on my dashboard been coming on every since this problem. :( HELP

I dont know what tiny leave like noise are so cant help you with that.

You will get a smokey exhaust though if you are not burning fuel properly - and since you are stalling and flooring the accelerator you are not burning fuel properly.

Combine this fault with a seperate fault with your brake light coming on, I definately wouldn't be going over 60 without getting it fixed. In fact, I probably wouldn't drive over 20 just in case I killed someone (including myself!!!)

My car gets white smoke out of the exhaust whenever it gets cold. My manifold is worn and I think it's the heat.

Definately get the brake warning light problem checked out.
