Hi

I've just bought my first toyota, !994 Rav4 GX. 3 door. An import but no owners manual. There are a number of features about the car that I am unable to operate and also basic maintenance information. Do you know where I can obtain a copy for this model?

Hi Brett, and welcome to the TOC :) .

Several ways you can buy manuals, first is go to Toyota, they will sell you a UK owners hand book which is very similar to Japanese spec, they also sell workshop manuals, these came in 3 or 4 separate books but are rather expensive.

Second and in my opinion best value, Amazon sell a conversion handbook which covers all aspect of your Rav, go to Amazon and tap in "Toyota Rav 4", i spotted one on there for £17.00.

Next if you need a workshop manual, eBay sell a book by Haynes , its printed for the USA market , but i'm told it covers your model and will be of great help for service work and repairs,
