Timing Marks Lucida Estima

help plz

Ive just done the head gasket and timing belt on my lucida estima import 2.2td

cxr10 engine

However somebody presumably with a sense of humour has removed all timing

marks around the face of the engine :censor:

I have the marks on the cam wheel

Has anyone got any info on where abouts im supposed to set it to so i can get it

back together and on the road

Not sure if this will be relevant now, but as a first handed find it out yourself because no-one knows........for everyone who attemps this type of project, assuming everything has been removed from the front of the engine, includining the plastic covers, yes all of them, the crank timing marks are at about 10 to on the casing and the mark is on the gear ring closest to the block, the pump is also on the gear face and the mark to line up to is the raised part with the to close together grooves, the cam is a pain, on the gear is an etched line, that marries up to the tiny slither of metal that sits at about 12 just where the rocker box fits the head. Appearantly all 2.2td's are timed this way and FYI town-ace 2.2 have the same head as the Lucida too, just in case you need to swap one.
