Le Mans...

Is anyone on TOC (or LOC) going to Le Mans next year.

There's a few of my mates going down... but I'm the only Toyota.

We're meeting up with a convoy of sports cars to drive down to Dover... onto the Speed Ferry to Boulogne... and then drive on to Le Mans. So far we have Aston DB9, Porsche 911, Porsche Boxster, Noble M12, MR2 Turbo (supercar!), Nissan 200SX, and the list is growing.

We're getting the 7:45am ferry from Dover on Thursday 16th June next year, and coming back on the 2:00pm ferry from Boulogne on Monday 20th June.

The ferry is costing £50 return, so the whole trip including ticket, food, accomodation (tents!) and fuel (depending where from) should set us back around £350.

Let me know if anyone's interested.

Whole new list of cars going on our convoy now. I'll post them tomorrow, but we've been joined by Porsche GT3, 4 TVR Griffiths', 6 TVR Chimera's, 3 TVR Cerbera's, 1 TVR Tuscan, Merc SL500, Toyota Supra (anyone on here?!!!)... and so on. It's not a race... so your trusty 1 litre will be fine Ryan!

Ferry is £50 return... per car of up to 6 passengers. Need to get ferry tickets quite soon.

Camping, ticket for Le Mans, food, etc is about £200~ish... then fuel!

Should be about £350 all in to be fair.
