Hi,

does anybody know where to get some good automotive tools from i.e. Trolly JAcks, Axle stands etc?....i have tried Halfords but there quality aint that good.

Argos do a set cheap .. I've got Halfords and the 2 tonne jacks are fine ..

Machine Mart usually have some good stuff in, not too heavy on the pockets either

the Halfords tools are actually not THAT bad.....

get yourself a draper catalogue! they do some good stuff...

failing that, if you have got some spare cash, you can't beat snap on!!!

I have been using Halford 2T trolly jack and axle stand for a couple of years now and they're more than fine. Best bit is I got the jack and stands as part of a special - the stands were free with the jack B)

As far as the tools go - I also use Halfords Professional range, they have a lifetime warranty (conditions do apply)

When I was doing the turbos on my supra, a mate lent me some snap on tools (long wobber extensions, a couple of spanners, anda socket set...)

I commented on how great they were compared to the :censor: I have!!! he then told me that small bag of tools is £300+ worth!!!
