Will These Fit?

I can get a set of wheels and tyres at a very good price:

the tyres are 205/40.

and the wheels are 17" with 40 offset

My TS has not been lowered yet but I was planing on doing that after the winter so I guess some mods will be needed... right? how much does it cost to roll the arches?

also, will this have a big impact on performance? I was actually planing on getting 16" wheels but I can get these 17" at a really good price...

You will need to mod your arch's quite a bit to fit these wheels espeicaly if you intend lowering the car. If you do decide to go for 17's you reall want to fit light weight wheels something like, Konig, OZ or Atech would fit the bill.

If you were local I would offer to roll the arch's for ya as we have a machine here.

I douubt the would fit mate, 205 is a tad to big and the offset would give you problems, as you need 38 or 35, 40 is pushing it abit....
