Hi, I have recently got hold of a 1976 ta22 1600st, twin carb jobbie and it is in the body shop being tarted up. What I relly need is the housings for the side lights located just above the chrome bumper, if any one out there can help it will be very much appreciated!! :help: Will post pics once it is finished so you can all drool over it!! Might even be tempted to sell......................... O.K. now just had to take my medication!!!!

I originally had my first Celica back in 1982, it was a t23, apparently there were only 8 in the country as it had a 2000cc with automatic box, it was mint!! Two weeks after getting it on the way to work it decided to fall in love with a lampost...AT 65mph........samshed it to pieces. :crybaby: It didn't put me off them thopugh, I went straight out and bought a 72 ta22, Ive now had 5 mk!'s, and 7 2.8 supras, I love em. :group-cuddles:

Anyway if anyone can help I would br forever in your debt!!

Thanks, David.

I have purchased a couple of bits from this seller but he doesn't have the lights, unfortunately.

I am still holding on for them and have feelers out at the moment.

I'm not amember of the Toyota classic club but I will have a look if anyone can give me the correct url instead of trawlinhrough hundreds of results from the search engines!!

Thanks for reply.

As yet they don't have a web site but their contact address is in the Classic car mags, i will try and get it for you. Its been running since about 1991 and is aimed at all Toyotas over 10 years old.

Give this guy a ring, Bob Clark 01179 353736, he restores TA22's/TA23's

David, I am a member of the Toyota Enthusiasts club. We should have our own web site soon. I would recommend that you speak to Bob Clark or Malcolm Graham Jones from our club who specialise in TA 22 23and RA23 28 cars. I have some second hand units that you are after. Phone Alan 0793 2014704 for more details.
