I have a 1998 Land Cruiser Prado first registered in Dubai and I get an audible speed alarm at 125KPM (the car is european spec.) How do I reset or turn the damn thing off?

Do you have a wiring diagram, or do you know which wire to cut?

Try find where the alarm sound is coming from and then cut the wires that go into the small speaker. Either wire should do it or both if you want. Cut one at a time and then use insulating tape to ensure any bare wires do not touch.

There are dozens of wires going into the box that houses the speaker, it also contains the central locking, fuses and other electronics.
