Front/rear Lip

If I'm to keep the Yaris I really want a nice front/rear lip. The TRD one from HK/Japan looks good but is impossible to source over here. The c-one version is way too expensive cus its carbon fibre, the booster one is different - but the rear lip for booster only looks good with a booster exhaust. The c-one rear lip is well expensive as well. And the TRD one on envy website leaves little to be desired.

Also, has anyone who's had such parts fitted, know if they are easy to remove and do not scuff original paintwork?

I'm in this situation myself!

I've got booster front and sides, TRD brows but the back is bare! I would get the booster but the exhaust is needed for it to look right and is going to cost at least 450 for a custom one! Add on to that the 185 for the lip and then painting and its going to cost the best part of 800 notes which i'd rather put towards a new car!

As for fitting, most lips screw and bond in place so theres virtually no chance of removing them without damaging the paint underneath

i got the full booster kit as i don't like loud exhausts.. i live in a quiet area.. i just put on one of them tailpipes that light up.... fills the gap and looks ok

as for fitting.. it fitted perfectly 1st time the panel beater said it was a quality kit and everything lined up without any problems and no it didn't damage the original paintwork :)

T-Sport bodykits...

Only ones I like are C-One, C-West and Booster. None of which have nice back ends unless done with lots of cash.

Booster back kit you need the dual exit exhuast, otherwise with just the one looks stupid. The rest of the kit is damn nice.

I belive Kevin (Envy Kevin) is going to put the Fujitsubo onto his T-Sport and he has the Booster rear, if it fits then he is going to patch over the otherside.

What I would think of doing is:

Getting a Fujitsubo, getting the Booster kit as and when afterwards, and covering over the left exit, then when you have even more money, get another Fujitsubo, and make the exhaust system a custom cat-back.

Only thing is while you have the 1 exit, and the cover up it may look... I dont know lame. Have to see when kevin puts it on. Looks quite weird with 2 empty holes on the back of it!!!

Jaxx, was it easy to remove ur booster kit? Did it leave any marks?

theres not enough space for 2 back boxes as the fuel lines run down in that area!

So 2 fitjubos would mean relocating the filler neck and all the lines! Doh!

I've had 2 custom exhaust places look at how an exhaust will fit and both said the passenger side wil have to run off the other box

the booster runs off the second box. but trust me its dead easy to relocate fuel filler necks.

i was thinking of twin carbon boxes for min at one point and it wouldnt take much effort

socks - i sold the entire bumpers on an exchange basis for old ones

Arg!

Why can't booster do a single and dual version rear lip. They've only done this so you have to buy their exhaust. I'm sorry but the fibreglass cover (for if you only have 1 exhaust) looks pants.

get a decent bodyshop to cover it up

it wouldnt be hard for a propper 'modding shop'

I've seen some coverups, seen some on this blue yaris... looks okay I guess. could just put a fake exhaust there hehe.

I dont think that looks too bad. Infact this car has added "Blue T-Sport" to my list of possible colours.

That looks utter :censor: !!

If a jobs going to be done, do it properly! At least put a fake exhaust there... that cover up just looks wrong.

Nice colour though.

Is that colour the normal Yaris blue you can get? Or is it a re-spray? Does look nice, never really thought blue...

Problem is, to get the kit fitted and the exhaust all done at the same time would be mega!

I rekon:

1st do Fujitsubo

2nd Booster front skirt and sideskirts

3rd get the booster back lip, fit it. Get it sprayed and within a week or 2 get the 2nd Fujisubo fitted and get the full exhaust system cusomised and moved all around (which apparently needs to be done).

Would go for Booster exhuast, but sounds like its an under performer.

Cause the booster back end is the only one I like, that would suit the rest of the kit.

Veilside has that weird shape in the middle dont like

Carcept is cheap and nasty and wouldn't match up (saw a corsa wid 1 the other day, all their kits are the damn same!!)

K19, bleeehhh (rear skirt i mean. Sideskirts are quite nice)

C-West looks okay, but still not sure.

C-One... wouldn't match up.

Someone contact booster, tell them to make a 1 exit back skirt, or tell them to make a better dual.

I wouldn't want to buy a Fujitsubo, then have to downgrade, spend £555 and have something I dont want.

They exist. Whats the colour called on the Mark2 blue? Looks damn nice I rekon. Very clean car in that pic. Ive been looking at standard blue Yaris T-Sports and they all look, well flat. Yours looks nice and shiny though Dougs not putting you down.

Mmm think thats the same.

All I ever see Yaris wise is:

Thunder Grey, with the odd white one here and their. I have seen 1 Gold T-Sport.

T-Sports are rare around here. Let alone a modified one, let alone a black/red/blue one which is what I will look for.

Aye, but that's the price from Kevin. Shipping is big bucks, cause of the size of package.

I think its too suttle. Booster is better, has a more mean edge to it and stands out a bit more. Without being ridiclous and it keeps to the Yaris styling.

I've got a blue t sport! They arent that rare, i've seen a couple by me but Thunder grey is defo the most popular! the phase 2 blue is brighter.

Mine will also have that rear bumper and 2 exhausts....one day!
