Carina E 2.0gli Orange Oil Can Light

Dear All,

i'm new to this site but ineed you help ,i have 1994 2GLI Carina E ,My dashboard is has the orange oil can symbol on,what does this indicate and what actions could i take,ok,but i checked the oil stick and the oil is full,another thing is that this symbol is the orange oil can with a wave line underneath.

Its your oil level warning light. Lets you know when the oil level drops too low. Mine needs topping up with about half a litre when it comes on.

Yes thats right. The orange oil can symbol denotes oil level. The oil pressure warning light is RED

If you`ve checked the oil level and it`s ok then this would suggest that the oil level sender is faulty. :thumbsup:
