Clicking Noise From Corolla E10

Hi guys.

Just wondering if anyone knows why my engine is making a clicking noise coming from what looks like either the 3rd ht lead or the inlet manifold or around that area of the engine. It is a 1.3 16v 1995 4E-FE engine with 61,000 miles on the clock. it sounds like the click that a HT lead gives off, Now on tick over its fine, hardly noticeable. But when my revs build up above say 4000 rpm. It becomes overpowering, its louder than the exhaust, and i can feel vibrations thru the accelerator pedal and clutch pedal. Also as i get to the higher revs, the power backs off and it feels gutless towards the limiter. Ive cleaned all my plugs and its still doing it, Ive checked all my ht leads and they are firing correctly. I have also disconnected one lead at a time then started the engine, there is a mis-fire but it is still clicking. Any ideas ppl or has anyone experienced this before?

Thanks for your help guys !
