Corolla Gearbox Problems

:( Can anyone help? I have a Corolla T3 1.6 that is 14 month old since the day I picked the car up the gearbox has been awefull and been to the garage five times. So far the gearbox has had (I'm told) been rebuilt with new parts apart from linkage and bushes but still gears 1 3 and 5 are very notchy. The main problem is moving from 2nd to 3rd whereby the gear needs a good push through two notches while the gears appear to crunch. Has anyone else had this problem or know what may be causing the problem. PS the garage has been excellent and agree gears 1 3 and 5 are not what they would expect, but are still to find what the problem is.

i am having the same problem as you but my gear box has completly gone. :(
