New Cat For Corolla E10

Hi ppl. Just wondering if anyone knows how much i am looking at for a new cat. We have established that it is the cat that is at fault. I phoned toyota and they quoted me £475 for a cat repair kit. Where as i can get a sports CAT fitted for £240. Would anyone advise going to a scrap yard for one or stick with a new one. Any help appreciated. Cheers guys!

I take it yours is a bolt on one?

I'd go new if i was you, i know that the top gear website does some descent offers on the toyota cats,

worth a try...

Get a sports one if you want some more performance!

But otherwise get yourself down the scrappy. Why bother shelling loads out for something that will work fine off another Toyota!
