Has anyone tried to change the bulbs in the dipped beam Units on an Avensis D4D 2003 model?

Managed to change the nearside with great difficulty, but the offside is hampered by the washer bottle.

There is not much space to get working on the headlights.

Help please.

Agree, it's best to take to garage.

I have an 8 week old Avensis T2 which developed condensation in the offside headlamp. Seals on back of BOTH light units were replaced (as original seals were apparently faulty - and a known fault).

1 week later both headlights suffered SEVERE condensation (like a kitchen window after boiling water for hours). Unable to see through headlight glass at all.

Both headlamps replaced yesterday, and light condensation visible already.

Morale of the story - don't take any chances with lights on the Avensis!

What is it with headlights these days? I read on many other forums the problems of headlight condensation.

The makers of these light units really need a kick up the backsdie.
