Hi everyone,,,

I am kinda of new here ... I was looking for a fourm like this and I am happy to have found this place.. YaY

I just got myself a Jap import Vitz about a month ago ... Yesterday While I was driving in the rain I kept on getting this weird sound from my wipers as if they are scratching something... I stopped the car and grabbed a tissue and cleaned the wipers. Today In the light I noticed a large curvy brown line on my screen from the wiper. It looks like a scratch ,, I washed the car but it still wont go ...

Any tips please... It still brown in color even after washing the car...

Any tips how could I remove it or clean it atleast... normal car washing didn't work :(

Thanx ..

Twinkle

Hi Twinkle

Welcome to the club matey. Hope you like what you see on here ;)

Try some strong paint thinners or petrol and wipe it carefully on the windscreen. That should remove the mark from your windscreen. Becareful not to get over the paint work. Also wash windscreen afterwards with soapy water to remove the thinners or petrol

Don't worry Chappers It's not a turbo.. It's a small 1L yaris/vitz :)

I will try the window clearner tomorrow morning ,,, if I didn't work I will give the paint thinner a try ...

Wish me luck ... I really hope it's not a bad scratch that wont go ... Ohh my poor baby :crybaby:
