Steering Rack

so due to the luvverly roads in this fine city they call sheffield, my steering rack is bent, as i discovered today when going for an alignment.

the rod entering the track rod end on the passenger side is where its gone, which may also explain my dodgy camber setting on the drivers side  ,

anyway

would you

1. try rebending it back

2. buy new

3. buy second hand with warranty.

and does anyone know if its a pain to do, as i got power steering im sure it probably will be :crybaby:

cheers

I would put a claim into the council. Theres a few people around where I live who have put claims in due to pot holes damaging suspension etc... Apparantly its cheaper for the council to pay out instead of resurfacing :ffs:
