My New Mk1

Just bought a mk1 in white!! Superb car! B reg and only done 65k! Thats less milage than my mk2!! All standard except for a magnex exhaust and k&n cone filter. Proper beast! Got rust on the rear arches but then again what mk1 doesn't or hasn't?? Not rusted all the way through yet tho so all is good

The master plan is to strip it down and enter the mr2 challenge competition. There's a few of us in so costs should be relativly low considering.

20 years is a fair old age for any car, and only 65k? :o

Get that filter cleaned and oiled though - it looks a bit caked.

I have been on the look out for a MKI for a little while now (I miss RWD). Unfortunately money is really tight so may have to find one with a knackered engine and swap the Non-Tvis into it from my Corolla.

Got the filter sorted. Getting a cheepy deal from K&N. Just need to put stickers on the outside of the car

Nice one Lee, I was looking at getting into the MR2 challenge but interest in my area was pretty non existant so I'm concentrating on my 4AGTE project :P :D .
