T-sport Engine Oil?

I’m a little confused, been reading the user manual and it says the engine oil for the petrol engine on a Yaris can be either of the following:

10W 30

5W 30

15W 40 or

20W 50

So which one should I use? Or doesn’t it matter

yeah... I'm currently using Mobile 1 and it's 0w40 and I think it's a bit too thin... will most likelly try out 5w40 or maybe go with 10w40 next time...

10w40 is most common...

wouldn't personally use 15w40... especially at winter time - too thick...

OK, looking at the manual it seems it depends on the temperature on what type of oil should be used.

With the British weather as it is it is a toss up between

10w 30 (-18 to 38+ degrees centigrade)

15w 40 (-10 to 38+ degrees centigrade)

The other two types are:

20w 50 (-7 to 38+ degrees centigrade)

5w 30 (-29 to 10 degrees centigrade) Artic conditions!

I think I will go for 15w 40.
