Tte Springs On Ebay

Saw these on eBay, wondered if they might be of use to any Corolla 1997-2000 owners (AE111).

Especially at price or is there something i've not noticed?

What the hell ive just put a bid in

TTE springs work with the original dampers right? How hard are they to fit or is it best to get a garage to sort? What do you think guys?

I know alot of us will say it's easy enough to do yourself, but please remember you will be taking your struts apart and thus need a Coil spring compressor.

Also taking 'compressed' struts apart can be dangerous, people have been badly injured and even killed doing this due to the coiled spring 'bursting out'. If you have not done it before see your local friendly garage to do the job; they will also probably agree with what i've just said! Perhaps they may let you watch so you will know for doing it on future cars and thus of course learn the safety side of things.

I have the tte springs (eibach) -30mm with standard dampers for over a year now (it was my first ever mod!) and I've been very impressed with them. The ride is a little jittery at lower speeds on poor surfaces but what do you expect when they're 20% stiffer. On the plus side the turn in and body roll has been improved so much! I find it easier to get the ***** out on wet roundabouts now too.

I got mine fitted by a garage in west wales for £50. You'll need to get the tracking done afterwards but TOYOTA won't be able to do it as they use some fancy computer thingy that only recognises the original geometry.

I have a TRD springs and absorbers at usd 480 including shipment.. super struts only..... used for 2 months only

RS*R spring at usd 220...add usd 60 for via air shipment to your doorstep...
