Same as ours

the only thing that is wrong is the pipe to the box if you know what I mean, it's to long, going to fit ours next week as I get four days of :hokus-pokus:

If you want I will let you know how I go on.

Paul

Really appreciate it, pics would be excellent :D . The first box on mine rusted so I was thinking of replacing it with pipe, I could use a shorter piece of pipe to bring the flange back

Have you thourght about using exhaust heat wrap

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/catalogue/pr...PCODE=DEI010105

I used it on my last car and managed to lower the engine bay temp by 10degrees

Im trying to get hold a freind in the states, I wondered if I could get the exhuats sent to him, then he could send it to me wrapped as a gift

The exhaust heat wrap looks good,

When they sent the pipes over from the U.S. they put them down as samples

so didn't pay vat.

I had heat wrap on my inlet pipes when I bought my car, but I took it off. It's still in my garage. Think I'll put it on the downpipe instead.

U can get the heat wrap much cheaper that demon theives price

http://www.agriemach.com/product_info.php?products_id=363

I managed to wrap my exhuast manifold + downpipe and still had enough left over to do my mates manifold.

Its a heat barrier so I suppose you could wrap the inlet pipes, to prevent then getting hot

I think I've got about 10 inchs left over if anyone want a sample

heat wrapping is no good, the only thing it does is stop the heat from coming through the heat wrapping itself, trapping the heat around the exhaust pipes, it doesn't affect the material itself.....the pipes can get cracks in them if you you wrap that **** around them.

you should get it TBC coated instead (Thermal Barrier Coating), that stops the heat before it enters the pipings material itself (which heat wrapping doesn't) and that stops any chances of getting cracks in the pipes.

if you have a regular black-steel exhaust and use exhaust wrapping the exhaust will rust very quickly aswell. as the condensation that becomes when the exhaust is cooling down gets trapped in the exhaust wrap.

I would only use the heat wrap on stainless otherwise when the heat wrap gets splahed by a puddle it holds the water next to the steel and rusts the pipes under the wrap.

Ive not heard of the thermal barrier coatings, any idea how much it costs?

Hmmm... not very high temp resistance in that then eh?

Have you contacted the company that sold it to you?
