Help! Mr2 Steering Wheel In A Corolla?

Hey there,

I wana put a mr2(mark2) steering wheel in my corolla ae-101, i think the centre bolt is the same, but i don't no for deffo, and i don't no if the indicator turn off will match? Also, the mr2 has 3 wires for the horn, whereas my corolla has 2? whats the difference?

Any help would be really appreciated...

Do you have a Airbag?

If so you'll need to disconnect that before doing anything with regards removing the steering wheel, I had a momo wheel on my last car, but I'm happy with keeping my airbag on the corolla, so the standard one will be staying.

I would guess the wheel will probably be a direct swap, not sure on that though.

Hey dude,

nah, i haven't got a airbag, mine is the 94, m reg, just before the airbags came as standard in the corolla.

i think it'll be a direct swap, like i said the bolt is the same (pretty sure), just wondering about the indiaction part of it, and the horn...

Have you got a leather steering wheel then? or is it a standard grey airbag one? at the mo, i have a ae-92 gti wheel, fits snugly. B)
