Display Question

Hi folks, I'm a new Yaris owner ... well, to be honest I don't pick it up until Thursday.

It's an 02 plated d-4d and during the test drive I noted that the head-up display showed average speed NOT mpg and average mpg as my mother's 1.3 GLS automatic does.

Is there a fault, or is the diesel just different?

On the display, there are options for avg mpg, avg ltr/km, current mpg, avg speed, cd tarck number and cd lapsed time. This is in addition to the clock and the temperature.

So how do I change the options?

I tried pushing the lower right button which I'm sure scrolled the options on our automatic and nothing changed.

Yeah, the button that says trip. You can also change some options by pressing the menu button and scrolling through the options in there to change stuff.
