Yeah, I know a matey with a red Rev1 Turbo near me who's got the 17'' five spoke Altezza alloys, and the look ok from a distance, BUT, the rears sit in about an inch too far cos of the wrong offset, and they look REAL bad. It need spacer rings on the rear to push the wheel out, the fronts are ok tho.

Hmmmm...might flag it then, been hard out warned against spacers, most of the ones you can buy onlybring it out like 10cm, if I could find some that would bring out my stock rims I'd just stick with them. Cheers anyway :)

nothing wrong with spacers aslong as you get the right type, and quality ones

I dunno, they lessen the amount that the hub sticks out in the centre of brake disk. That bit which protrudes is intended to fit snugly into the wheel and take a lot of the weight of the car. When you fit a spacer that bit may no longer be sticking out, which puts all the weight onto the studs, which they were not originally intended to take.

if u buy the right spacers then u get stud extensions, i bought a set for my old escort expectin a few mm but got a set that were an inch wide, were very well made and fitted perfectly, expect to pay around £30

Yeah, in Supercharhed IS200's car(the silver one) you can defo see how the rears sit in there. As for spacers, if you really want them, then don't bother getting the cheapy 30 quid ones, they are just wrong, you want the ones that actually bolt onto the original hubs yeah, and have like new hole for the original bolts themselves. these are made by H+R. They are TUV approved, which is German standard, and are highly recommended, but cost arond the 65 quid mark.

Below is the link to H+R website, although in the US, you can get an idea, with spacers ranging between 5mm and 25mm!!

Hope this helps ya.

I have H&R spacers fitted to the rear of mine because the Konig's I have are the incorrect offset for the car. The spacers fit perfectly and give the correct offset. You're obviously going to get a little more bearing strain using spacers, but it's a damn site cheaper than a new set of rims!

OR, for the DIY guys, just cut some blocks of wood up, and use those as spacers even. Strictly for the DARING !!! HAHA

Thank you mate. Nothing special though... just took me long enough in Photoshop to decide what I liked best before buying!
