Bodykit For 2003+ Model Any1?

Hi, first post on these forums. Im proud to say i took delivery of a Toyota Yaris 1.0 GS VVTI T2 from my local dealer only about 2 hours ago and ive already got crazy ideas for it. I cant seem to see any bodykits for the phase 2. The only 1 i have come across is the Carzone one which i think is too low for the british roads. I was hoping someone could help me for some exterior mods? Also what is the right offset for 16" alloys to fit on this car and wot tyre spec should i get? Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome, I'm just up the road in Stewarton if u know where that is!

Anyway, there is a C-One kit available for it but be warned you need to have really deep pockets if you want it! And the offset for 16's is ET38 and i would go for 195 or 205/40 R16 tyres!

Also, its either a GS or a T2, same spec but the T2 is the facelift and the GS is the pre-facelift!

Hi and welcome to the club!

I'm no expert. but Ive noticed that quite a few people change the headlights from Phase 2 to Phase 1 if they want to fit a bodykit. It seems that all of the fittings underneath to attach bumpers 'n' stuff are the same.

The T2 replaced the S btw - the T3 replaced the GS... :bookworm: (got to get out more  )

Hope that helps and we'll see you at the next Scottish Meet.

Cheers,

Alan

Thanks for the advice and for correcting me on the GS T2 issue. It is a T2 as its the facelift model i have. I know where stewarton is, never actually been there though. Jus got back from kicking the yaris around my area and i feel its pretty nippy for a 1.0! Ordered DTM style mirrors and i should be getting a set of rims shortly after christmas. Im willing to pay a quite a bit for a bodykit but i feel the C-One it far too expensive. I have seen the K-19 from Ibherdeisgn on some sites and the price is also reasonable however, im not sure if they have 1 for the T2. Im not willing to change front headlamps. I emailed Ibherdesign and they said it would only after mods then they emailed again saying it will fit however, i will have to do without the front foglamps. Can some1 clear this up with me please? <_<

Basically you'll have to have the bumper cut where the teardrop is on the facelift headlamp...thats it, I've got a pic of the carzone on a facelift somewhere! Watch this space :)

EDIT:

Check out this old post for the carzone pics on a facelift, then you'll know what I mean where the bumper has to be cut slightly!

Thats not a bad piece of kit for a Toyota Extra part.

Do they do that on the Mark 1?

Yeah, they do, i've seen it in the accessories book that came with my manual.

Its completely different for the phase1 and it replaces the bottom halve of the bumper

Thanks for the advice every1! Nice splitter u got there. Do they do like matching side skirts and rear splitter? If they do, ill be round my local dealer b4 u know it. I like a nice dicreet yet effective bodykit. Hate the carzone/carcept ones.
