Can any1 confirm if the rear calipers on an mr2 turbo are the same through all revisions? My handbrake mechanism is buggered and I want to get Jimlads spare rear calipers BUT mines is a rev4 and his is a rev1. I would think Toyota kept the same setup yes/no?

Look on the caliper. They can be identified by a number cast into them. On a Rev1 N/A for instance, the number is 16*** and Rev2 onwards is 22***

Hmm according to the link maleborn provided (thanks btw) rev1 calipers appear to be different..rev2/3/4/5 were the same...and judgin from the pics it backs up what you say PeterUK...rev is 16...re2/3/4/5 is 22. Ah bollax...I was gonna get a good deal off jimlads rev1 calipers too..strange thing is tho..on that website calipers are only £74 each surely SURLEY that cannot be right!?!? If they are then why are people like Fensport doin recon units for over £100!??! I shall be placin me order...

The difference is between rev1 and rev2+, the rev2's have the larger disks although the calipers look about the same size the rev1 calipers won't fit on a rev2 disk...

It doesn't look great for you Pizza....

Just ot of interest jim, where did you get your brakes from in the end???

Matt.
