Cant believe what I've done

My car is being prepared at the moment which isn't going to cheap to say the least.

My Power FC + Controller will soon be here (more money). (Late Jan/ Early Feb)

And I've gone and bought a Blitz De-cat and uprated actuator.

And on top of all that it's Christmas :o

So I can safely say i'm very skint, but my car will be ready for the ring. (hopefully  )

Its a difficult time of year, and your wallet feels it the hardest - can't you just wrap up the power FC and give it to the misus or something, just make sure you have a camera ready for when she opens it!!!

Just out of interest what made you go with the Blitz de-cat???

Matt.

and Thankyou very much TOC for saving me £50

I brought a nice big BK meal from Donny Services with some of that cash

not go a clue mate, to be honest I didn't do the mods for the bhp but because they where long overdue.

I'll have a go at breaking it down for you though.

(total guess work)

1)Power FC = 30bhp max

2)De-cat = 15bhp max

3)Actuator = 0bhp but enables the boost to stay on full for much longer

hey rico, whats the news with your 2?

**Thread hi-jacked**

Its in the garage now mate, needs a new rad before they can do a compression test to see if the head gasket has gone.

Got one coming soon so fingers crossed its not the gasket and just needs bled. :(

On the way to the last meet the car started to over heat.

It was a very cold morning and ive had a slightly leaky rad for a while.

I think the anti freeze was low and the water in the engine was frozen and caused loads of back pressure.

Which in turn burst the rad.

So its in the garage waiting for a new one to arrive.

Once fitted they will bleed it and do a compression test to see if i did any other damage.

Fingers crossed....

Just Phoned the Garage and all the part's have been fitted and it's also been fully prept :D

I'm looking forward to testing it later on today :P

But he said something about my car spitting out flames at the moment

but did say the Power FC will iron out the problem (when it's fitted)
