Beautiful Chilli Red Toyota Yaris SR vvti. Only 50,000 miles on the digital dash. In original condition, it's a highly-specced limited edition model that came with all this is standard:

This is an original Japanese-built SR, not the later French-built version. It uses a short-stroke version of the 1.5 T-sport engine, NOT the lazier Daihatsu 1.3 in the later French model. The car is all original, with the genuine Toyota skirts and spoiler. It also benefited from fabulous 10-spoke 15" alloys as standard, and a TTE backbox.

Servicing was by Toyota main-dealer up to and including the 40,000-mile major service (done by Sturgess of Leicester). I changed the oil&filter myself at 45,000 miles and again at 50,000miles. And not being made of cash, but possessing tools, a Toyota service manual and a scan tool, I also carried out the minor service at this point - new airfilter, OBD scan, plug-check and a general go-around with the coppa-slip!

She runs sweet, and the performance is stunning for a group 5 insurance, 1299cc warm hatch. She'll average over 55mpg if you tickle her, but she's got a fair bit of poke too. A world away from the 1.0 version! Cheap road tax too.

Needless to say, I'm a bit of an enthusiast and she only got the best in fully-synth oil and was always run on 97 or 98 RON fuel - the vvti and adaptive ignition gets a bit more power and mileage from more expensive fuel.

Tax and Test runs out in february, but she really will sail through. My recent career change (and newly-gained self-employed status) means I can't afford to own such a nice, and expensive) car. Or even buy the tax! So I've bought a mobile hair-salon and she's up for sale to pay the mortgage.
