Low Oil Pressure!

ok got up to day and decided to to take my yaz for a spin. tried to start engine but the low oil pressure light came up. opened bonnet checked the engine oil it seemed to be full. what do i do???? i know its a stupid question but im a stupid person!! please help.

Just to rule out the obvious. You had started the engine?

tried but it wouldnt start and the low oil pressure sign came up. Anybody else had this problem???

Well all cars light up most lights when ignition is switched on but the engine not started..

I would get someone out to look at it. I have had mine not start before because of the cold :o

The oil pressure warning light stays on as long as the engine isn't running simply because there's no way to make pressure without a running engine.

I agree with Robie, you might want to look at other things first.
