Coupe Chick: 86Jay's turbo'd AE86 is also in the calendar. So now there's no excuse not to go out and grab a copy! :D

Trueno: As for future plans for my AE86, I've currently got a carbon fibre bonnet on order, though I'm not sure whether to leave it lacquered or get it painted silver to match the original colour. I'm trying to go for a modified/restored classic look, so raw carbon (though it should coordinate with the graphite two-tone) may look too obvious. Also not sure whether to organise a full respray. The body has a couple of minor imperfections I'd like to remedy, though I've been told by a few others that the 'patina of age' quite suits it. Whaddya reckon?

Tricky one that!, i think i would leave the bonnet un painted! Other wise i wouldnt see the point in having a carbon bonnet, because they are as light as fibre glass and kevlar, but kevlar etc has to be painted to look good, unlike carbon looks awesome as it is! If you see what im getting at! ;)

But i definatly wouldnt get a full respray! I would have a few parts tidied up but i think if a car is too shiney and too good looking its a shame to ramp the crap out of it and looks more like a show car than a drivers car!

Im going for a tidy but very useable state! :)

This looks awesome but you know that its never driven like a AE86 should be! :)
