2 Year Yaris B Service

Oh well another tale of unhappy customer following Mr T service.

1.3 Yaris - 2 Year ‘b’ service just done (car is on 13K).

Feels no different at all.

They sorted a sticking upper glove box lid and re fitted water seal trim on a rear door.

The car was not cleaned, the washer bottle filled when it was already full and the rear wiper blade replaced without asking me first.

They also messed up the service book and wrote the wrong date in it and then changed it – I’m annoyed about this as I think this will make future buyer suspicious.

The bill was £185 . . . your thoughts ?

Absolute *******.. Got 3yrs dealer service, from there on I'm doing it all myself.

They filled the screenwash and swapped front and rear blades when I had changed them myself :arrgg-matey: Complained and got refund..

Did a few other things but i've forgoten. <_<

That's ridiculous!

On my Y-reg 1.0 it only cost about £120 for that service - and Struans don't muck me about. The one time they did (slightly - the alignment machine wasn't working) they took £35 off the bill for petrol and time wasted...

That reminds me - they've just sent me the reminder for my Dad's Rav to be serviced... They still haven't sussed that yet!

Can you not try another Mr T nearby - I take my cars to Perth rather than Inverness as Inverness is that much dearer.

Get through the three years then onto buying decent parts and getting a local dealer to sort it out.

My dealer have been very good.... They rang to ask if they could change any parts before they did it, and they gave it a really good wash and they gave me a free car-care pack! Think it was £185 notes.
