Rattle

Hi,

My toyota starlet has developed an annoying rattle (sounds as though it is coming from behind the glove box) when the car comes to a stop. You dont hear anything when the car is moving. So while waiting at junctions/lights you get this rattle/rattle noise, is this a known trim problem or is it likely to be something like engine mounts ?? The car drives fine and doesnt feel any different to before.

Any ideas??

Hi,

I am new to this board but I just saw your comment about the rattle and I would suggest that you should see your mechanic. I had a similar rattle, in the similar place and it turned out to be the waterpump, but I could be wrong about your rattle so best to check it out.
