hey im new to this forum and goin to buy a starlet soon.

Do these sportif's have central locking and a rev counter? as i am unsure of these.

Sum1 help me out.

No the sportif dont come with a rev counter, not sure about central locking.

no central locking ethier,on the sr comes with these extra's.but ive easily fitted central locking to mine,v easy but worth while job. As for the rev counter im going to get a set of dials from a japense wreckers,straight swap

I've been looking around for a while and cannot find many SR models that have low/average mileage and good cond.

As i cannot find many SR's, i might have to settle on a sportif.

What are the prices like for a rev counter and central locking to be fitted?

Central locking costed me £30 for the kit from maplins and then i sold off two of the motors so the net total was £20. there is a sticky entitled "sportif wiring" - have a look its not that hard

Central locking is 12quid on eBay

Rev Counter you may haev a little trouble finding original dials, But addon tacho's are erady available,an wont cost alot to get fitted

(Id just make sure you look for one with a spoiler tbh,as i think they look well different with out it,but im sure you'll form your own opinions)

You can't find any SR's :o have you seen autotrader lately online, quite a few in there. :D

the central locking kits on eBay are a joke, you have to pay £12 delivery!

If you can get swiss MES motors. they are the best.
