4agze 20v

hello,im only a new member i have a q : the bottom end of my 20v is bust.if i got a 4agze to replace it,

could the 20v head be fitted to it????

in a word yes..you can run a 20v head on a 4agze bottom end..but you wil need to either swap the pisons over from the 20v block...or use the 4agze pistons but use a thicker hear gasket as the valves obv are diifernt.....also worth noting if you do this and you cambelt goes then you will knacker your engine up!

theres someone in Ireland thats just finishhed doing it as far as I can recall..it comes up for discussion quite often on club4ag.com...
