sup, had my wheels changed this morning, fitter relised there were 2 steely style wheel nuts on the rear (one on each side). he took them off and done his job...had new tyres fitted....they dint have any locking nutz to replace it with....so i went to C>A>R, got some from there - front ones fitted perfect...where the 2 steely style ones were on the back of the car. no freaking nut wants to go on them at all ...tried it all...it goes on like 2 threads and its game over for then.....any ideas whats happened...coz im baffled.....and how much is gonna cost me to fix the damn thing

Bolts should only be a couple of quid litterally.. :thumbsup:

Re-dye.. Ever re-tapped a hole? It's the opposite of that, although it's easier if you buy the bolts and fit them.. :huh:

buy new bolts for the hub.. redyeing can cos problems.. if there is not enough metal left the threads won't cut.

Try re dyeing the threads may only be dirty or slightly rusted.

thanks a lot, ill have to pop over to Mr T on monday morning...ordem em...hopefully theyll help me - usually they dont wanan know coz im an 18 year kid.

You'l find that alot.. Try a local garage and ask if you can watch or help out the mechanic (because you'd like to learn).. :thumbsup:
