Strange Brake Sound..

Hi all,

I just bought a 2001 Rav4. Everytime I brake (even just a little bit) I hear a click when the pedal first goes down. If I push the brake pedal down and only bring it halfway back up and then go back down, it does not click. It only seems to happen at the beginning of the pedal down travel. It doesn't seem to affect the braking itself.

any ideas?
