This is something i've done aswell. Its a bit better than non at all but doesnt make much difference when pulling away from standstill as no cold air will be directed to the cone.

But anyway .. an enclosed cold air intake for the Apexi is what i'm looking for aswell. Maybe someone like Kevin would like to add this to one of his ongoing projects as i'm sure plenty of ppl will be interested if he did!

i used a plastic coated aluminium central heating hose from a truck

good when youve got mates who work for Scania eh..

very nice indeed mate, i need to sort myself out with a code air feed, im sure all the hot air arround the engine doesnt help
