Is it a maintenance free filter? Or do you have to go through the whole cleaning the MAF sensor work?

Yeah, price might be nice! Is it better in terms of noise/power etc than an apexi?

Oh, and your very welcome for me signing your book! I felt i had to after i saw the pics of your car in the 'TOC: coty' awards! It's a super hot car... subtle but lurvly!

Its noiseier and the you can't really compare the power 'cos u'll not gain any anyway!

Its a good buy if its going cheap enough!

I didn't think i'd get any power! You gotta have a bigger engine and a closed induction kit with cold air feed for any chance of power gain!

On the subject of noise tough.... Would an aftermarket filter (to replace the one inside the standard box) and movement of the cold air feed (to get more air) give any difference in noise?

You wont get any noise difference in doing that. Although if you drilled holes into the airbox and added another cold air feed then it would give that sound and probably be better than an induction kit. As the original box would act as a heat shield so you'd be getting more cold air in as opposed to hot air from an induction kit.

As for the Blitz ... if the price is right then get it ... as it'll look and sound wicked and you can always put the un-modified airbox back in when u come to sell the car.

sorry for the late reply ...some of us went back to work today :crybaby:

aint got a price but will be under £100

reason for poss selling the lads at work are sorting me a custom

made one but blitz is too big to fit where they going to put it,

also not happening till end of january :D

The filter test most people are going on was done by apexi so thats

why apexi is the best,

Ralliart UK did same test got difference results.

my filter has been removed today and theres no dust or carbon at

all on the inside of the pipe or air flow metre.

if i sell it it will be in for sales end of january.
