I'm looking into possibly selling my fave little car after only having it for a few months :crybaby:

I just wanted to find out how would I go about doing this (i.e. going back to the dealer), and what price do you think I'm looking to get for a '02 1.3 SR that only has 14k on the clock.

Any help would be much appreciated

dealers will offer you the absolute minimum as they need to make some profit on it aswell

best bet is to private sell as you can expect top 2nd hand value, the smaller engined yaris' also hold their value much better

alternative again is to part chop against your next car

Thanks guys.

Dealer £7,897

Private £7,298

Part Ex £6,863

Trade £6,790

Cost New £10,370

Surely, a little overexaggerated? Bought the car for 7.5k

Out of interest why are you selling & what dealer did u get it from?

Mine came from Gallows Corner in Romford

Lookers/Chelmsford. I'm considering selling because I'm out of work atm, and finding it difficult financially to keep the car. I may look into buying another one when I've sorted myself out.

Would the Toyota dealer be interested in taking the car back off me, or would it now be classed as too old? Sorry for the silly questions.
