Flat Battery and clifford alarm system

My Battery went dead on my MR2 roadster because I hadn't used it in a while.

I tried the jump start procedure and my electrics lit up again and my car alarm is working again.

However, I could not turn the engine over, I think it may have something to do with the cars immobiliser.

Before the Battery was flat I would turn the key to the 'on' position and press a key on the fob to take the immobiliser off.

When i try this whilst jump starting I press the fob as usual but nothing happens, when I try to start the engine up it won't turn over. Any suggestions?

I had a similar problem with my Clifford 300 alarm as I haven't used my car it stood in the garage for almost 6 months. It may not be the alarm ,but actually the Battery.Have you tried putting a different Battery in or fully charge your current Battery?Once I fully charged my battery everything was working fine.Hope this helps

Cheers

Ant
