Glanza De-cat/downpipe

has anyone out there had a decat done on there glanza V as im havin mine done on friday :D

i was just wondering with it been an import will it get through an mot without it?and what sort of power i may release?

Import + MOT + Decat = no problems.

Plenty of people have decatted their Glanza.

Was gonna say that mate.... the reason... The vehicle is not on the European emissons testing list (Set by VOSA) so thereforw it must pass the level of a NON Cat car im sure. Mine is being Decatted in a few weeks to :)

Where you getting your DeCat mate?

would this be the same if you had a import engine?? or would they just go on the emissions that the CAR is supposed to preduce?

Engine.... but you'd have to prove it was an Import engine :)

cheers for the info lads. im havin a custom de cat done by a mate of mine phil who owns unique exhausts i cant wait :D and to pass the time i think it will be a day washin and polishing for me.

It's a very worth while thing doing mate will free up quite a few extra PSI as the turbo has not got that restriction after it.

its a good job i got the cat removed today as it was a little broke prob y the performance was down due to lack of airflow

but since it was done i have noticed a big difference and it sounds superb

cant wait to drop it on the rollers and see how she performs

i would like a de-cat pipe made for my standard starlet and as your only down the road it makes life a bit easier to get a good job done!

hi mate i had mine done at unique exhausts in stafford he charged me £100 for the work done but if yours is just a standard starlet it will be alot cheaper as its a much easier job for him to do.
