Ay, one to lock, twice to deadlock (try that with window open and pull up the door lock... it don't move! :o )

And the third option i call gangsta style... good for locking people in the car without the alarm going off!!

the beeping noise is if youve left a door/boot/bonnet ajar and have tried to arm the system

TOYOTA VEHICLE SECURITY SYSTEM (TVSS IV-D)

Arm - with interior protection:

Press once, one flash,

Press twice, two short flashes, this will activate the double lock system

Arm – without interior protection

Press lock button of remote control three times, 1st flash – short 2nd flash – short, 3rd flash – one long flash (double lock will remain)

If the lock button is pressed a 4th time, the system will remain armed, but now with interior protection reinstated.

The interior sensor can now be turned on and off with successive operation of the Lock Button (until 15 seconds after the first arming)

If any door is not opened within 28 seconds after disarming, the system will rearm automatically.

If the boot and/or bonnet is open while arming, the system will arm itself after they are closed, the LED will continuously illuminate until they are both closed.

The system has a memory, in the event that the system was activated during your absence, the hazard lights will flash 3 times when the system is disarmed.

The TVSS IV-D is designed to detect:

Movement within the vehicles interior

Opening of doors/boot/bonnet

Unauthorised turning of the ignition

Tampering with the siren

Disconnection of the Battery

The sound of glass being attacked

A buzzer will sound for 15 seconds if a door is ajar (that can be turned off by Mr T)

All standard on the T-Sport and Celica and other models, I did have a list but can’t find it.

Warning

When the system is armed do not unlock and open the car (doors or boot) by the key method as this will sound the siren.

Not a bad piece of kit really from Mr T, hope this helps...
