Hi,

New years eve on my way to a new years eve and mates birthday that on the same day. Were travelling in convoy with a few mates as only one of us knew where he lives and just my luck am the last car in the convoy when a car infront of our cars decides to turn into a side road at the last minute causing everyone to lock up a stop but uffortunitaly for me the car behind decided not to and ran up my *****.

The car a write off as im pritty sure as the rear end has bent down just above the rear axle (between the damper turretts). it has rippled the rear quarter panels and tucked the boot and bumper. the car that run into me was a 1.4 fiesta with a driver that had only passed his test a week ago.

all this put me in a really good mood to see in the new year. luckily the car drives fine and stear straight and i cant see that any of the chassis legs are bent.

i will put pictures up when i get them off my phone.

i think i may not get another starlet and move on to somthing different.

if they do write it off i will look at buying it back from the insurance company and maybe break it for bits.

soon as i know i will put up all the mods that i am selling off it.

blitz induction

twin 4" cans

full boot build

the car has only done 27k so the engine and box is good for somone as the car up to that was excellent condition.

Cheers

Matt

will keep you informed on what the insurance say. they should come on tuesday. the damage on the car from looking at it does not look that bad as everything is still on the car just a bit damaged. Its when you look under thje carpet and see the spare wheel sticking up about 2 inch more than it should then you start to wonder how bad it really is if you where to take the rear bumper off. if it is repairable then they will have to jig the back end to get the floor pulled out and straight again.

Rubix - Sorry mate have not got the speedlines but i have a set of 16" superturismo gt's which are only 2 months old.

if the insurance man writes the car off then you can always buy the car back at salvage value and then sell it on.

hard luck about the crash, feel for you mate.
