Difference Toyota Yaris And Toyota Vitz

I from Moscow (Russia). Before I ask a pardon for the my bad English.

In our country "Toyota Yaris" recently becomes more and more popular car. But we in Russia have a specificity. At us it is a lot of "Toyota Yaris" from Europe and much "Toyota Vitz" from Japan (with the right rudder). Russia in the East has the general border with Japan. And many cars are exported from Japan to Russia. "Toyota Vitz" from Japan very popular car in Russia (basically on east part Russia) due to very low price (the price "Toyota Vitz" in Russia in view of the customs about 3500-4000 euros (1999-2000)

But I know, that "Toyota Yaris" made at factory Toyota in Europe, and "Toyota Vitz" at a factory in Japan. And these machines externally identical, but technically differ from each other.

I want to understand differences is silent two machines and I hope, that you help to me. I have some questions-.

1. "Toyota Yaris" and "Toyota Yaris Verso" do at factory Toyota in Europe. In what country? What is a factory? Whether there is a statistics how it is a lot of machines "Toyota Yaris" and "Toyota Yaris Verso" have made at this factory?

2. To what countries of the world exported these machines "Toyota Yaris" and "Toyota Yaris Verso" from this factory?

3. In England a rudder by the machine on the other hand (as in Japan). To England exported machines from Japan (from Japanese factory Toyota)? Or from the European factory?

4. Than differ "Toyota Yaris" and "Toyota Vitz"?

I'll try to help...

1. The factory is in France... that's where Yaris are made. A Factory is just the name for a place where things are built/fabricated. There have been a lot of cars made here... in excess of 20,000.

2. Yaris mainly goes to England, Wales and Scotland, but there are one or two other EU countries that get it.

3. All New Yaris in England are from France. pre-2002 year cars where all made in Japan, and all the parts still are... they are just assembled in France.

4. Very few differences other than a couple of engine changes and colours/interior designs.

Hope this helps

Many thanks for the answer. But I have not understood much. French factory Toyota collects "Toyota Yaris" for the European countries. And collects machines as with the right rudder (for England, Chyprus), and with the left rudder. But why then on Chyprus "Toyota Yaris" have name- "Toyota Vitz" (in the same way as well as in Japan)? Or to Chyprus export car from Japan?

In France high-grade manufacture Toyota Vitz (weld a body, paint)? Or the body acts from Japan? Where collect (made) engines for "Toyota Vitz"? In Europe or export from Japan?

In Russia it is many "Toyota Vitz" from Japan and I see big differences. Here only a few-

1. All "Toyota Vitz" have the conditioner

2. There are modifications "Toyota Vitz" - 4wd (a drive on all wheels)

3. There are modifications "Toyota Vitz" with a variator transmission.

4. Back brakes "Toyota Vitz" - Disk ("Toyota Yaris" - Drum (leading/trailing)

5. Back suspension bracket "Toyota Vitz" - Torsion beam type coil spring ("Toyota Yaris" - Trailing axle type coil spring)

it is Possible differences even more....

P.S. "Toyota Vitz" have a special modifications for invalids with put forward seats:

UK T-Sport phase 2 is made in Japan.

Echo, Vitz or Yaris depends what country it is going too, that will also depend on what slight variations there are. In the US, the bumpers are bigger than the UK version, the dash is a little different to, market research and all that, it depends what the buyers want in that country!
