Rear Wash Wip

Hi All,

Got a problem with the rear wash wipe on my 1998 Corolla. When switching on the rear wipe to intermittent wipe, the wiper stutters and pauses all over the place. Switch the wiper to "always on", it's fine. Anyone know what might be the problem ?

That is your wiper stalk end. As it's the rear wash wipe and nothing else is affected i would consider 'living' with that problem. A rear wash wipe is only used occasionally and just turn to full as and when required.

Sorry to say this but it could be expensive replacing the stalk and if you try taking stalk to bits and cleaning it (i.e. trying to prise end of stalk off etc.) you may make other problems.
