Took some new pics of Kaori yesterday in a better setting that my driveway! There is a church in Rugby where my grandparents are buried and when I went to visit their graves, I took some photos in the church car park, which is quite a nice setting what with all the trees and everything.

You'll notice more of my excellent parking aswell - there was no one else in the car park, so I took full advantage of that fact by parking a bit sexier than I normally would at somewhere like Tescos..... :D

The sun was very low in the sky aswell at the time, which is probably why some of them are a bit on the dark side, but for my first set of "on location" photos, I think I did quite well! :D

It is weird, everyone always associated me with my Balearic Blue Yaris - even I get mixed up and call Kaori Karis! :D I miss her loads but sometimes you've just got to move onwards and upwards!

My other half is quite a keen photographer so I think hes rubbed off on me a bit - there are a few parks and natural havens round here that would be nice to get some pics in, would probably need a better camera first though!

Cemetarys are always really quiet and calm though, but I always feel like I'm being watched - its strange I know! :D

Urm yeah, I was kinda hoping no-one would notice that!

Its not actually very dirty, I think the sunshine makes it *look* even more so than it actually is.... :D

Although saying that, it probably does need a bit of a wash already! :D

It goes... my house... my garden... 2 acres of graveyard! It aint spooky though! It's annoying though because all the scally's hang around up there, making mess and throwing crap at my house... i have the best solution though... a nice powerful super-soaker! Little blighters!

Nice pics you've got there em... need to get that Carlo Blue shining though!!

I'm trying! Its hard getting the correct light though as the blue really comes out in the sunshine, but we dont have much of it this time of year!

Cleaning the car might help a bit too but once again I have to consider the weather!

I hate winter - please come soon summer so my car will look beeyaddaful again! :D

I agree the mica shine of Carlo Blue realy glows in sunlight or bright lights.

In the dull daylight it hardly even looks metallic. Roll on summertime

Island green is the same, lately it just looks like its a plain dark green due to the dark clouds etc...yet when I popped into a local town with my Dad in the Yaris the sun was out and she metallic really shone through..:)

£500 .. :P

Im led to believe that there are miniscule metal particles in the paint - hence metallic..and obviously the sun reflects off of these particles, making it 'shiny'..

That's what im led to believe anyway, could be wrong..?

I think they're basically the same, just fancy words that they use. Chappers answer sounded more intelligent though... so id go along with that!
