Do you know does Greddy kit has TüV certificate? Can you ask from your contact?

As I have understand the kit is developed for USA spec vehicles. I just dont get it why they dont release it for european market too since there is no competition.

There is just TTE compressor which is way too expensive and I want turbo anyways :bye:

I've seen them on websites to order for £1500, thats the Blitz one, the supercharger is about £2500.

Seems okay I guess.

Nemesis Performance

Order either the Turbo or the supercharger here. £1530 for the Turbo and £2511 for the Supercharger.

Only place i have found which sell them in the UK.

Thats the prices plus Delivery I guess.

the kit comes with a piggy back ecu. however will not work properly with UK cars as our ECU is mapped differnt to Jap and US cars. so you will need a stand alone fuel management system such as HKS F con, or MOTEC. which cost big £ plus time to develop and map them properly.

Anyone have any idea what the performance would be with the supercharger or the turbo?

Standard 0-60 in ~ 9sec.

What would these do? 7sec?

Do you need certificate for add-on turbo kit or compressor kit in UK? Here in Finland if you dont have TüV Certificate (or similar) you have to pay additional 1000€ for some short of emission testing. And that :censor: ...

UK cars are setup to ru on 95RON fuel and a major player is the alarm system that is intergrated into the ECU

have you got the link for the advert ??

sounds a bit dodgy, i wouldnt trust buying off people through eBay like that, just remember from Japan you may pay 200 in air freight costs, 100 quid in duty and 300quid in VAT if your unlucky

also Kevin can get hold of the same kits for a similar price and with a full warrenty.....

Go with someone you know and can trust i say, at least you know who to find if something goes wrong and how to get in contact with them!

Aye eBay is a bit of a communication bugger.

Didn't know Kevin could get them?

Btw... those prices I quoted earlier were not including VAT. [Nemisis Performance]

My point was... if you want a car with a turbo charger, then buy a turbo charged car! Not necessarily a Yaris

Jaxx is a good example at what I’m trying to get at.

Its like wanting a fast car but only having a small engine, what ever you do to it to make it look or sound like something it isn’t just seems a waste of money IMO, why not put that cash (which you will never get back) towards something that is faster/bigger/with a turbo to start with!

Just a thought!

i dont think putting a turbo on a yaris is really feasible unless you

a) have an unlimited budget

B) have a spare car to drive around in while they develop the management for it, oh and incase they get it wrong and the engine goes POP.

when i spoke to kevin from envy he told me exactly what i posted above, and said it was going to be about £6k all in (kit, extra bits, development) which is worth more than half the value of the car.

then you HAVE to upgrade brakes, suspension. not to mention the increase in fuel bills, and insurance.

i know you want a turbo (im as bad) but have you thought about NOS? similar power upgrades but slightly cheaper, and garuanteed to work

Or just import..

Many people have imported cars these days, insureres don't really care anymore.. If you want a Turbo'd Yaris, looks to me like this is the best way.
