I put some 17x7.5" wheels onto my lil Echo on the weekend ... they're on loan for a few weeks whilst his Honda Integra undergoes some modifications :P The 17s are running 215/40 tyres and are a dream to drive on, much better than stock 14s, or most other wheels ive had in the past. Despite beign a little slower in the straights, im definitely faster in the corners, the 17s LOVE to grip.

Chappers - anywhere from 20 - 35 degrees celcius most days... depends on the weather. It has been as high as 38-40 degrees celcius in the last few weeks though

MillzE - No arch mods ...... i have 30mm lowered springs. Anyone who says 7.5s wont fit on an echo has no idea. Theres a couple people here in Melbourne, Aus with 18x7.5ss on their echo with minor guard mods. Its all about getting the right offset on the rims. I think the onesi have are +38.

jaxx -- they look similar to the wheels u used to have?

Each to their own i guess!

it only rubs on BIG bumps. and if i have people in the back. 205tyes would be perfect, im running 215s on them at the moment which is hitting the front guards where the bolt holds the front bumper on.

ET38 is the best I think.

195/45/16 lower 40mm with that offset no problems at all. Thats what Chuck04s setup is.

Any plans for exhaust and all that?.

Been thre and done that already :P Previously had a custom 2" cat back zorst with an Apexi N1 muffler. Environmental Protection Authority didnt like it cos of noise pollution *was 105db... legally it must be under 90db* .... Ive had the stock one since i had to get it tested and sold the apexi. I got bigger and better things to put on in the future, tis just a case of finding $$$.
